Travel times

The travel times page shows a list of pre-determined routes in alphabetical order. The user can filter down the routes to see just an area. Routes show travel time information and delays.

Anatomy

The route times page is not impacted by the real-time travel search. The search does not show up on the page and is not part of narrowing down the list of results.

Top of page advertisement

Same as the top of page advertisement in travel alerts.

Title and summary

The route times page has a title and a summary at the top.

Filtering section

The route times page has no map and starts the user with a list of routes in alphabetical order.

More on filtering.

Filter sets

The list of filter sets so far include:

  • Region

    • Some tags include: Seattle, Snoqualmie, Tacoma, Vancouver

  • Direction

    • Some tags include: northbound, southbound, eastbound, westbound

Route cards

The list cards on the page display all of the routes.

The route cards contain a delay tag, title, distance, current delay, current travel time (and HOV travel time if available), and average time.

The titles include the starting location, ending location, and route or road. This includes whether it's an express lane or general purpose.

Express lanes (NOT DESIGNED IN SITE)

If a route has general purpose lanes and express lanes, the card will show both route times together in one card so the user can compare and understand that it is the same route.

Specs

  • See travel alerts alert cards for sizing and spacing specs.

  • The title and distance are grouped, as are the current travel times.

  • No delay label background-color: success 100%

  • Delay label background-color: warning 100%

Bottom of list ad

A space at the bottom has been reserved for additional ad space if needed.
