Contracting opportunities landing

The contracting opportunities section has a landing page showing the list of contracting opportunities, and individual pages for each contracting opportunity.

The contracting opportunities landing page uses the same layout as projects landing with a few differences.

The landing page does not have a map and starts the user on a list of results sorted by soonest bid opening date.

The page has a title and summary, followed by a filtering component.

Filter sets

The list of filter sets so far include:

  • County (with ability to search and filter down the set and use location to fill in county)

  • Keyword

  • Type

  • Status

  • Cost range

  • Delivery method

Filter section - project list view

The list of contracts contain cards summarizing the details in order to provide enough information to choose the right one.

Title of the contracting opportunity – succinct and contains location keywords the user might expect.

Publication date – Automatically populated from when the contract was published.

Submittal due – Pulled from submittal due date.

Tags – tags for Type, Status and County

Summary – This could be the project overview from the project detail page or the start of it. Displays approximately 280 characters. It’s important that this isn’t too long so the page doesn’t become overwhelming.
